 The Position

 An exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to gain experience in the Quality/ Technical field and gain a recognised qualification

 Demonstrable experience in an administrative role handling sensitive and confidential data of any capacity is advantageous, along with a proven commitment to attention to detail.  As a Quality and Technical Apprentice, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements and will include but are not limited to:

 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Engagement with a Quality focused apprenticeship course of study, to be funded by the Company.
    • Maintenance of electronic and paper work logs as used by the Department
    • General Administrative duties including filing of paperwork and electronic filing;
    • Working within schedules, incorporating 11 quality systems;
    • Responsible for accurate document control systems, including chasing and following up satisfactory responses
    • Accurately updating changes to Quality Systems documents.
    • Following Group Quality audit schedules and ensuring responses are received;
    • Minute taking in meetings
    • Typing up hand written notes and minutes;
    • Assist in preparation and delivery of training to internal employees on quality standards and hygiene;
  • In addition, this role will develop into encompassing the following:

    • Assist with preparation for Internal Audits, External Accreditation Audits including UKAS (ISO 17025) and GMP audits as required;
    • Assisting with the development and understanding of Food Hygiene Standards and Practices and GMP throughout the Group.
    • Assisting with the development and understanding of Accreditation standards used within the Group and related audits.

 The Person

 Educated to A-Level or Equivalent

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel

  • Experience working within an administrative support role.

  • Competent organiser and commitment to ensuring attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Ability to manage own time effectively and be able to work tactfully and diplomatically.

  • Proven experience of working within a team.

  • An understanding of Equality and Diversity, Data Protection and Health & Safety at work.
