PDM Group donates £20,000 to South Yorkshire Flood Victim Support Appeal

PDM Group has donated £20,000 to the South Yorkshire Flood Victim Support Appeal to help support some of the thousands of people who have been displaced from their homes by the flooding.

“Though our Doncaster operation was badly affected by the flooding, we’re now fully operational again. But many of our employees have had their homes flooded out and as a company we wanted to be able to support both them, and others whose homes and livelihoods have been affected,” explains Richard De Mulder of PDM Group.

“Our company has been based in the Bentley area of Doncaster for over 80 years, and as a family run business we have close ties with our local community. We’re just pleased that we can help by making this donation to the Appeal Fund,” he added.

Pauline Grice, Chief Executive of South Yorkshire Community Foundation, which is administering the South Yorkshire Flood Disaster Relief Fund, said “We are extremely grateful for the generous donation of £20,000 from the PDM Group to support the individuals and families affected by the extensive flooding in Bentley and throughout South Yorkshire”.

“This money will support the provision of essentials such as clothing, food and drink, and basic living needs in the immediate aftermath and during the many months it will take for the area to recover.”
