We are deeply saddened to announce that our Chairman Mr Prosper De Mulder (94) passed away earlier today following a short illness.

Mr De Mulder joined the family meat business in 1933 at the age of sixteen. Having little interest in the abattoir side of the business, he worked on adding value to the by-products generated by the slaughterhouse – the first processing equipment was purchased and installed in 1935.

Through Mr De Mulder’s vision and energy, PDM Group developed to become the largest by-product processing company in theUKwith an unrivalled reputation for innovation, creativity and customer service.

Mr De Mulder will be sorely missed by his family, friends and the many people who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.
