The Position

Applications are invited for an experienced Administrator to join our Human Resources Team based at our Doncaster Site. This is a part time, permanent position, working 3 days (24 hours) per week.

Demonstrable experience in an administrative role handling sensitive and confidential data of any capacity is advantageous, along with a proven commitment to attention to detail. HR experience/knowledge is advantageous. As a HR Administrator, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements and will include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining electronic personnel files, ensuring that all personal information held for all employees is updated as required and highlighting discrepancies to the HR Advisors.
  • Completion of administrative duties to support generalist HR transactions including completion of probationary period documentation, Right to Work in UK checks, incoming/outgoing references and healthcare letters.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of various HR spreadsheets relating to Pay and Reward processes.
  • Arranging meetings and associated activities, including notifications to employees and/or Managers, with note taking where required.
  • Supporting the recruitment process by organising interviews, liaising with candidates regarding interview outcomes and communication with recruitment agencies.
  • Completion of general administration tasks to support the HR department such as sorting post, devising standard documents and ensuring filing is completed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Payroll in relation to both monthly and weekly paid staff.
  • Assist in the production of management reports and statistics as and when necessary.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as and when required.
  • Promote fairness, equality and diversity.

The Person

  • Educated to Grade C or above in Mathematics and English at GCSE Level, or equivalent.
  • Experience working within an administrative support role.
  • Competent organiser and commitment to ensuring attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written communications.
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively and be able to work tactfully and diplomatically.
  • Proven experience of working within a team.
  • An understanding of Equality and Diversity, GDPR and Employment Law.
