The Position

Applications are invited for a Bagging Operative based at our Nottingham Site. This is a full time permanent position (48 hours per week), working 12 hour shifts (days and nights) on a rotating 2 week shift pattern.

As a Bagging Operative, your duties and responsibilities will vary on the Company’s requirements, but will include:

  • Loading of product into the appropriate vehicles.
  • Preparing and bagging products ready for despatching.
  • Ensuring products are being despatched to the highest standard and taking samples before distributed,
  • Completed paperwork and general housekeeping as required.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by Management.

Requirements

  • Must be able to prioritise the workload.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • It is essential that applicants hold a full driving licence.
  • Having a forklift truck licence and / or shunter licence would be advantageous.
  • Have a good level of literacy and numeracy.
  • Be flexible with working hours.
  • Be able to work in a small team, and also on your own.
  • Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous although training will be provided where necessary.
