The Position   

Applications are invited for an experienced Administrator / PA / Secretary to join our Quality/Technical Department based at our Doncaster Site. This is a full time permanent position, working 40 hours per week.  

Demonstrable experience in an administrative role dealing with Quality/Technical systems is advantageous, along with a proven commitment to detail and strong organisational skills.  As Secretary / Administrator, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements and will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing changes to the Quality Systems (including UKAS 17025) and HACCP systems;
  • General Administrative duties to provide support to the Quality/Technical Team;
  • Working within schedules, incorporating 11 quality systems;
  • Responsible for accurate document control systems;
  • Accurately updating changes to Quality Systems documents;
  • Following Group Quality audit schedules and ensuring responses are received;
  • Minute taking in meetings;
  • Delivery of training to internal employees on quality standards and hygiene;
  • Willingness to engage with training and development in relation to any relevant opportunities identified by the Company.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by management.

The Person


  • Experience of working within an administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and a strong typist.
  • The ability to produce reports and communicate findings effectively
  • Competent at analysing data.
  • Be self-motivated and have a pro-active approach to problem solving.
  • To be able to work to tight deadlines.
  • A clean driving licence and willingness to travel 


  • Previous experience within a Quality environment.
  • Experience of working in a factory / commercial environment.
  • Previous experience working with Quality Systems (including UKAS 17025) and HACCP systems.
  • Hold a certificate in Level 3 HACCP (or equivalent) and Internal Auditing Skills
  • Previous experience in implementing and conducting training.
