The Position

Applications are invited to apply for the position of a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator based at our ReFood Ltd, Doncaster Site. This is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

As a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

  • Overseeing circa 15 employees, including drivers and site operatives to achieve daily collections and deliver KPI’s.
  • Ensuring the efficient running of the Company’s collection services.
  • Planning efficient operation of the vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicle utilisation is maximised and service levels maintained.
  • Recruitment, and assisting with the management and development of drivers on a daily basis.
  • Assisting in managing the raw material supply chain – coordinating supplies with customers and internal personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory obligations for vehicle operations, health & safety, and other legislation.
  • Ensuring vehicles are available to the correct standard and taking action when needed with contractors who service and repair the vehicles.
  • Maintaining driver records and driver’s hours in line with EU rules regulation (EC) 561/2006.
  • Prepare vehicle KPI’s in line with ReFood requirements.
  • Be responsible for the setting up of new customers and maintain relationships with current customers.
  • Ensuring any queries/briefings relating to drivers are dealt with.
  • Completion of general administrative duties. 

The Person                 

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced Transport function.
  • Strong Health and Safety awareness.
  • Remain calm under pressure, with good activity planning and organisational skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • A team player who is also able to work on own initiative.
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work
  • Able to effectively prioritise and have strong problem-solving skills.
