The Position

Applications are invited for a Site Team Leader at our SecAnim Ltd, Widnes Site. This site is a 24 hour operation running 365 days per year. The role is a full-time permanent position, working 12 hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days / 2 nights and 4 rest days).

As a Site Team Leader your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

  • Overseeing the production process across the entire site, ensuring all site operations are carried out effectively.
  • Ensure Health & Safety and compliance procedures are adhered to and reviewed, including carrying out risk assessments.
  • To ensure the site is meeting production requirements (continuous process operation).
  • Ensure product quality is in line with Company requirements and meets customer specification and volumes.
  • Provide team management and leadership to all operational members of staff.
  • Assisting with audits.
  • Environmental and general compliance under IPPC regulations and EMS 14001 accreditation.

The Person

  • You must have a recognised Process Control qualification and have good process/industry knowledge.
  • An Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification would be desirable but not essential.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation in the workplace.
  • A good understanding of steam systems would be desirable but not essential.
  • Be able to guide and lead a team to solve process/plant issues.
  • The ability to work well individually and in a team.
  • Be self-motivated with a desire to succeed and develop own skills and knowledge.
  • Have good decision making skills and be able to prioritise the workload.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to converse at all levels
