Commercial team appointments
PDM Group, the UK’s leading food waste recycler, has announced the appointment of two new members of staff. Rebecca Law has been appointed as a commercial management trainee and Graham Morris will take up a role as commercial manager for the North West and Wales.
During her training, Becky, a graduate in business management from the University of Hull, will be working in various parts of the group in order to gain a comprehensive knowledge of its core operations. Becky said: “PDM Group has recently announced it is planning to spend more than £90 million on its operations in the UK before the end of 2014. I am therefore really excited to be joining at such an exciting stage in the company’s development and am looking forward to playing a part in its continuing success.”
Graham, who has 20 years commercial experience in the service industry, will be based at the Widnes site and is to be responsible for the procurement of raw materials for the red meat rendering and BFB combustion plants at Widnes. He will also oversee the procurement of raw materials for the new ReFood plant, which is currently under construction.
Philip Simpson, commercial director at PDM, comments: “We are pleased to welcome two new members of staff, who are at different stages in their career, to the group. We have faith that Becky will thrive at ReFood with our long-standing commitment to training and developing our own staff. We are also excited at the level of experience that Graham brings to his role at our Widnes site.”
