COVID-19 – CUSTOMER INFORMATION
In response to the outbreak of the current Coronavirus strain, the SARIA leadership team is closely monitoring developments and working to develop contingency plans to protect our employees and ensure the timely service and support of our customers.
SARIA’s key priority is to ensure the safety of our employees and to assist our customers by providing solutions to help slow the spread of COVID-19 / SARS-CoV-2. We are closely monitoring the situation and following guidelines from Public Health England (PHE) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
PRODUCTION AND DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS
We’ve been monitoring the epidemic for weeks and continue to take steps to monitor and prepare for any potential impact to our value chain.
Service levels will continue as scheduled unless we are notified by customers that they are suspending onsite visits.; in that case we will communicate via email and phone to ensure we stay in contact and meet the needs of your organisation.
Our employees have been trained and educated on the virus regarding precautions and actions to take place at work and home – specific to cleaning, and steps to take should they feel or become ill. This training is available to our customers as well upon request.
INTERNAL PROCEDURES
We have restricted International and domestic travel of our employees, effective immediately and until further notice. The SARIA leadership team will continue to monitor the evolving travel direction from the PHE and WHO and will advise of any domestic travel restrictions as appropriate.
We have cancelled and rescheduled internal and external meetings; we are prohibiting attendance to external meetings and events until further notice. We will utilise conference calls, and virtual meetings when we are able to in order to maintain efficient contact with our stakeholders.
We are asking employees to take precautions, such as avoiding people who are sick and frequently washing their hands, following the World Health Organization guidelines. This includes all employees, including those who either work from or visit customer sites and supplier locations.
SARIA continues to comply with all instructions from national and local authorities regarding travel restrictions, self-isolation, reporting and other health precautions. We expect our employees to be honest about their health and travel history for their safety and for those with whom they might come in contact. We also expect customers to inform us immediately if there is a confirmed COVID-19 case at their location.
If there are additional and specific precautions you are requiring your employees to follow and require compliance with this from SARIA staff, please let us know as soon as possible. SARIA appreciates your partnership on this issue.
If you have questions, please get in touch with your usual SARIA point-of-contact.
Kind regards,
