SARIA & TotalEnergies join forces for Sustainable Aviation Fuel

SARIA and the French multi-energy company TotalEnergies have decided to join forces in an exciting project to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in Grandpuits (France).

SAF is a synthetically produced aviation fuel, that can be made from animal fats and used cooking oil. Compared to traditional jet fuels, this resource-efficient fuel saves up to 80 % of CO2 emissions over the lifecycle of the fuel. SAF is therefore an important tool for effectively advancing the climate policy goal of decarbonizing the aviation sector.

This project will connect the value chain from the collection of bio-waste to the marketing of biofuels and the production of sustainable aviation fuels. This is another move for SARIA to be the preferred partner for sustainable solutions.
